It's time to look forward to the brand new 2015... but first: one quick glance behind...
I make a specific and conscious effort to keep my social media accounts full of brightness in the days, and what will become fond memories. At the end of the year, at the start of a new, I love to look back. I love to look at the big picture. My heart told me on many days that 2014 was too tough... that the emotions taking me on roller coasters were enough to declare 2014 unpleasant... Then I take a look at my Instagram account and I see the lovely. I see the moments I would love to bottle and cherish forever. I see the days that were beyond beautiful in every way and am reminded of the blessed life that we lead. For those who believe social medias should show the good, the bad and the ugly, I would beg to differ. I want some places to be only for the sweet, and none of the sour.
Character was built this year. Life did not necessarily go as planned, but when it's all said and done, it was all for the best. We are better because of 2014. Learning is part of living.
I'm excited to see what 2015 brings. I've made plans and resolutions, but I know sometimes flow as they will, rather than as I've laid them out. I'm along for the ride, and I'm thankful for the journey.
