Baby clothes have come a long way. I mean, I don't think I am super qualified to say that seeing as my firstborn came on the scene a mere three years ago, but these days it just seems that the deals are better and the clothes are more comfortable.
Example one: jeggings (side note- generally speaking jeggings should be reserved for babies, toddlers, & pregnant women). Jeans just go with everything, but I rarely felt cruel enough to subject my newborn to the harsh fabric when Sophie was little. Maggie got her first pair of jeggings at one month and we've never looked back.
Then there's the practicality of her h&m sweatshirt. I mean, really? How did it take retailers so long to figure out that sometimes babies need to be fashionable in sweats without the hoodie? Hoodies are fantastic, don't get me wrong, but I don't love taking naps with a hood under my neck, so why would my baby? And they made this one so sweet that I couldn't resist.
Last, we have the metallic pink Sperrys. I mean... really. Irresistible. My grandpa was a sailer all my life and he inspected them closely and declared them authentic. Stamp of approval from such a credible source makes them even better (if that's possible). Oh that's right, they also stay on.
